Why do I have to provide my real name during WSOP Online Ontario tournament registration?
We have worked hard to stay true to the WSOP’s heritage as the world’s leading live tournament series, and we actively want the WSOP experience to mimic that of a live tournament; no hiding behind aliases, you face your opponents openly and by revealing your real name, you’re joining a WSOP tradition stretching back to 1970.
Will my real name be displayed throughout the WSOP Online Ontario series?
Anyone making a WSOP final table will play under their real name (in place of their nickname), while the real names of all cash prize winners in WSOP events will be made available following the tournament's conclusion.
What if I do not agree to my real name being displayed?
You won't be able to participate in the WSOP Online Ontario events.. However, there are still many great tournaments and games to play on GGPoker.ca.
What is the buy-in range for the WSOP Online Ontario Series?
Direct buy-in starts from just CA$ 25. However satellites will be available.
What’s the policy on players winning multiple tickets to WSOP events?
If you win multiple WSOP event tickets and cannot use them, your unused tickets will be exchanged for T$ after the series is finished.
Will promotional tickets also be exchanged after the series?
No, Only tickets won in Satellites to Ontario WSOP Online events will be exchanged. Any tickets won in competitions, giveaways, or freerolls must be used and will expire at the end of the series
I have multiple WSOP satellite and event tickets of all different values. Can I combine them in order to register for a higher buy-in event?
No, this is not possible at present
I have WSOP Online Ontario tickets; when do they expire?
You can check the expiration date of any tickets in your account by logging into the app and viewing your tickets in the My Page > My Wallet window. The expiration date of each ticket is clearly displayed.
Can I sell action for an WSOP Online Ontario events?
Yes, normal staking rules apply via our staking platform, some events only permit staking to be sold on the Final Day. Please check the individual tournament lobby for details
What is the maximum amount I can sell via the integrated staking feature?
Players can sell up to 90% of their tournament action as per our normal staking rules
If I sell more than 50% of my action and win the event, do I still get the WSOP Bracelet?
Absolutely, no matter what action you sell, the WSOP ring (and the glory) are all yours.
Is deal-making permitted at a WSOP Online Ontario event final table?
No. Deals are not permitted when a WSOP Bracelet is at stake. Deals cannot be made via the poker client, nor can they be made independently away from the poker software (offline).

- All dollar ($, C$, and T$) amounts are in Canadian dollar currency (CAD).
- If any players fall under suspicion of fraudulent activity, GGPoker.ca has the right to investigate and remove the players once it’s confirmed.
- Please note that tournament prize pool guarantees are subject to change, some amounts listed on this website may not be current; please check the guarantee amounts listed in the tournament lobby of the GGPoker.ca app for up-to-date prize pool information.
