Audio Space - FAQ and Summary

What is Audio Space?

Audio Space is a table feature by GGPoker. It allows players to communicate in voice chat at the tables.


Why was Audio Space developed?

Audio Space was developed in order to enhance player convenience and to increase social activity at our games. It was designed to bring a live poker feel to the digital felt.


Where can Audio Space be used?

Audio Space will be available at VIP tables and featured final tables of certain Main Event tournaments.


How do I know if Audio Space is available at my table?

If Audio Space is available, it will be activated by default.


I’ve entered an Audio Space - can I control my microphone and speaker settings?

Yes you can. You will be given the option of selecting which microphone and speakers you wish to chose.

Who can create an Audio Space?

Audio Spaces cannot be created. If Audio Space is available, it will be activated by default and players can then join.


Who can sit in an Audio Space?

All players logged into their accounts will be able to join in an Audio Space, but only the players seated can speak.


Can I join more than one Audio Space?

No, you will only be able to join one Audio Space at a time.


Do I have to sit into an Audio Space if it’s open and active at my table?

No, you do not have to participate if you do not wish to do so.


How do I join an Audio Space?

If an Audio Space is open at your table, you must open the chat window and click Join Audio Space above the chat display.

Can I leave an Audio Space?

Yes, you may leave an Audio Space at any time. Please open the chat window and click on Exit Audio Space.

Can observers hear an Audio Space?

Yes, observers can listen in an open Audio Space. Observers will not be able to speak, however.


Are Audio Space tables monitored?

Audio Space will be monitored, and our standard chat policy will be applied to these tables.


Can I enter an Audio Space if I have my Mute Helmet (Helmet Mode) on?

No, players cannot enter an Audio Space when the Mute Helmet is on.
